Hi Everyone,

Well last night was full of information and thanks again.

Called the NUT about mashed potatos and gravy. NO NO NO ! Have ten more days till I see her and hopeful go to mashed foods.

My food is cold... my body is cold .. my nose it cold..All this from the woman in Dec. with a light coat and still warm! YEE YEE back at ME!

It seems like I want just some warmth and flavor and I love FF refried beans and salsa but don't want to get tried of them.

She did say no more thin cream of wheat or even thin 1Tbsp of oatmeal. Oh the hot stuffs gets cold and the yogurt gets warm. I do have applesauce and pureed pears and peaches for a bit of favor but that 's not protein. Not to much change .. she just said do the best I can with protein 1st and my milk and make it to the appt. My best is warm milk with a nestle mix. So no more ******g ... I am a very forunate woman and looking at all the beautiful butterflies around last night!

So , thanks everyone and stay WARM!

Mashed foods will come along before you know it. It seems like it takes forever; but it really does come quickly. Enjoy each stage, as each stage is a new stage of your new life. And isn't it nice being cold for a change? I love it!!! But my heater doesn't like it. I have my heat up to 74 AND the fireplace on. I am definately keeping warm.  Hugs, Lori

I agree with Lori, enjoy each phase as it comes. I understand about being cold, though - I still am at a year out! At your stage, fix yourself some hot chicken broth.  The pourable kind is great.  Gives you some protein and warms you up.   Sorry I didn't get to meet you last night, maybe next meeting??

I am sooooo ready for spring. I'm glad you called your NUT they are the best on telling us what we should be doing. Hang in there mashed foods are right around the corner and then you can have eggs w/salsa.( heh, he, ha) Here's to staying warm,

Jennifer

MJ, Have I told you lately that I love you??? You are so very okay.  And your positive attitude is humbling.  Just remember - this, too, shall pass.
