The novacain has wore off!!!!!! The long over due tooth is finally out but man!!! The numbing stuff wore off and now I totally feel horrid! OOOOO the pain( and that is with pain meds!). I have stitches there also. I just need to get thru this 24-48 hour span and all will be fine. I am hungry and it hurts just to open my mouth! OK, I'm done whining! Thanks all!

Your poor DH!!! Tell him not to wait for the numbing stuff to wear off!!! TAKE MEDS ASAP! Cuz when it hits it's a bugger! I have taken Vicodin and still feel pain! Thanks dear!

Thanks you Sweetie! I just can't wait for the next 24-48 hours to be done!!!! I think this is worse then my WLS!!!! (course I was on Morphine

then)

Hurts like the dickens, I know it! I had a root canal this summer....hurts more now than it did before!!! I should go back, but just hate to. Good luck and you'll get better soon! No pain, no gain!!!!!!

Thank you!!! They wanted to do a root canal onthis one and I said no, yank the sucker(it's in the far back and I don't care). Well, after he yanked it he said that it's a good thing I did yank it because they wouldn't have been able to root canal it since one of my root was folded over (maybe that's why it's painful

). Just waitin for it to feel good again!

I feel for you, Sandie! I hope that the pain quickly subsides and that you're able to get some nourishment in. I had Part 4 of a root canal done yesterday. My dentist put a permanent filling in. My lip is still numb in places! I do want to mention about Parts 1, 2, and 3. My dentist loaded my jaw with enough freezing compound that I felt like I was living Bill Cosby's dentist schtick about the bottom half of his facing sliding off his skull and being totally incoherent. Holy moly--I NEVER EVER was that frozen before! I had to get prescription antibiotics and I couldn't even talk--I sounded like an idiot and I was droooling! I ended up writing a note to the pharmacist explaining---she didn't understand the gesturing--and she finally said she understood!

Anyway--that's in the past, and I hope you're improving!
