Interesting info on Muscle Milk
Hey Ya'll!
I spoke to my personal trainer last night about my diet and supplement intake. He strongly suggested that I not use the muscle milk as a protein supplement due to high caloric intake and that it was geared more toward men who are trying to gain bulk, and that since I am only lifting weights for toning that this would actually slow my weightloss. He is ordering me some samples of protein supplements to try that are organic and geared more toward women and the extra minerals we need. Just thought I'd pass along the tidbit. If anyone is interested in the suggestions he has for which protein to use lemme know!

almost 300 I think (I'm guesstimating from memory) then I use skim lactose free milke to get extra protein because the powder only has 15 grams... why I liked it so well was because it tasted ok. It was the only one so far that didn't make me gag.

Laura,
He was going to do some checking for me and hopefully have the samples today or by end of week. I haven't tried the unjury, the darn stuff is just so expensive and I've bought a few containers and just can't gag the stuff down. I know alot of it is the grittyness and funky smell it closes my throat right up LOL I've even tried putting the stuff in a sippy cup to help shield the smell.
Those RTD coffee things from bariatriceating are alright but I'm staying away from caffiene and I don't remember them coming caffiene free not to mentin they are super spendy. gee I'm starting to sound unpleasable... :0(
