The long awaited for WOW moment
CONGRATS, KATHLEEN! I'm very impressed with you hanging in there, even MORE so that you dropped 3 sizes when not dropping pounds!!! Were you working out? The whole muscle weighing more than fat thing? That might explain it - that, and "they" say your body finds a weight it held onto for quite a while in your past, and stays there for quite a spell. Then you 'break on through to the other side', and you're on your way again!
YAY YOU!!!!!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Darla, nope I wasn't working out. I did make sure that I parked further away, used the steps etc..... plus my new part-time job (I still have my full-time job) I work my butt off at the end of the day. Since mid Nov when the new C.J. Banks store opened in our mall, I've been working between my two job 60 to 70 hours a week. I put in anywhere from 4+ to 7+ miles working at C.J. Banks. Constantly on my feet, walking, bending stooping, squating, cleaning etc.... it's a great workout! Plus I love taking care of all the plus size gals, they so deserve to look and feel there best, I've been there and I can so relate to their struggles of getting dressed and looking great and feeling great about how they look. It's a good place for me to be.
One of the most important things to note about this plateu is that I was first denied by my insurance co. because the jerk who did my psych eval deemed me not a good candidate for the surgery because he felt I wouldn't be able to follow through...... So for all of you who are running into this problem, prove them wrong. I'm waving my "you're number one buddy finger" at that man who said I couldn't do it! If I can hold out and get through and almost 8 month plateau, you can too!!!!
