Tracy, I had a pain very similar to what you are describing since last Sunday.  (but  I couldn't tie it to anything specific that I ate).   Mine hurt all the time, but the pain was much worse when i ate or drank anything.   I had my 3 month appt with Dave on Thursday and they sent me over for a CT scan.  Luckily they didn't see anything serious, but I do have 'some irritation'.  They put me back on clear liquids for a couple days and now I am on full liquids and will move on to soft/mashed later this week, etc.   My pain is pretty much gone now.     Maybe the liquid diet would help you feel better too.....  But maybe a call to your doc wouldn't hurt? Good luck... I know this isn't fun.

Owweeee.  I hope you are feeling better today  I haven't had issues with pork itself, but understand what you mean about not chewing enough.  It is a hard lesson to remember, but thank goodness for our pou*****eeping us straight!   It sounds like irritation.  It certainly wouldn't hurt to be on liguids (or even pureed) for a few days.   Keep us posted!!

This sounds similar to what we affectionatly call my "Ka****ummy".  It took about three days for my tummy to feel normal and quit hurting.  I loved Kashi Go Lean Crunch till then and I tried to eat it again awhile after that and it happened again so I gave it up.  I was in pain, and never want to go there again.  Unless pork is cooked very tender and is very moist I can't eat it.  I always cut it into small bites and cover it in applesauce (made with Splenda).

Good to know that it tooks a few days.  I'm trying to do mostly liquids and soft foods (like string cheese) to help it heal - but oooohhhhweee that thing is sore still!  Definitely not trying pork again.

Hey,  Glad you are feeling a bit better.  I haven't been on for a while so I am catching up on the board.  I was able to read about your pork chop incident.   Hope you continue to feel better.   Will I see you at group on Wed.?

Surgeon's goal met, now on to the personal goal...

I was back on liquids and full liquids like yogurt etc for a few days, I did't eat anything I had to chew.
