hey there everyone... on thursday I got my surgery date.. feb 11 I had to make a quick 6 hour trip to duluth on thursday afternoon for a 9am appointment on friday. i was put on a 3week liquid diet of Instant carnation breakfast no sugar however they do not sell it in canada and i went to every store in duluth for it. does anyone know of an alernative that their surgery recommended for the liquid diet... i would appreciate some help... Lori

I wonder if the liquid protein shakes would work for the liquid diet. I ordered some Matrix from bariatriceating.com and I think it is very tasty - I actually like it better than carnation instant breakfast - more protein and less sugary sweet tasting. The matrix can be mixed with water or milk.

Just a suggestion.

All of us with Dr. Glass were put on Glucose Control Boost. I actually liked it and it sure filled me up.Hope you find something soon. Hugs, connie d

Hi Lori, The NSA CIB is hard to find in Duluth, MN. I have only been able to find at Cub Foods up by the mall. If your interested, I have several packets of the Chocolate and vanilla flavors you can have, just pm and I give you further details. Erika

We could have regular CIB and Boost pre-op but had to have the no sugar added post-op. Double check and see if that's what you have to have now. I always got my NSA CIB at Cub and Super Target.
