Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A big thanks to everyone for your concerns and words of encouragement.. I just had a bad day and was feeling sorry for myself. I think it was because I didn't lose any LBS in 2 days and it just got me really bumbed which is foolish. Anyway I am over it... I have not yet dumped I have however thrown up a dozen times from eating to fast or or to big of a bite you would think I would learn..(maybe someday). I even eat with a baby spoon. anyways Thanks again I love you guys!!!!!!Marsha

I did that stuff too. I weighed everyday and have tossed my cookies from eatiing too fast or not chewing well enough.
Amy's right put the scale away, just weigh once a month when you do your measurements... once a week if you just can't NOT know lol (thats what I do)
and the slowing down and chewing well enough I think is a practice thing. I'm getting better at it you will too... hugs hon!

You are what you EAT and WHO you hang out with! Choices=Outcome~ what's YOUR choice??
I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
I am so nervous about the eating to fast and not chewing enough after the surgery. I am truly starting to work on doing that now, but it is hard. You would think it wouldnt be that hard of a thing to do, but I dont know about you, but I have to really concentrate and think about it.
I like the tip of using a baby spoon, I finally threw the kids spoons away last year, but I will have to go and buy one!!
Hope things get better and the throwing up stops.
Take care

Marsha, I don't even own a scale. I only weigh myself A) when I have appts. with my nurse, and B) if'n I happen to be in the vicinity of my clinic in the morning before I've eaten anything.
I really didn't want to obsess about my weight, but instead focus on doing the things I know I need to do. And the fun part of not weighing yourself very often? Those numbers make some pretty significant DROPS!!! We women have hormones that'll cause our weight to do some funky things if we watch it too closely, micro-manage it. But just looking at it once a month, we get the big picture! I think it helps me keep a happy, positive attitude!
Hugs for you - and put that scale away! (I'm sensing a theme here...)
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I am glad to see that you are feeling better today. I know I really struggled with head hunger yesterday and had to keep myself at my desk for fear that I would go to the vending machine or the cafeteria and get something sweet then end up sick. I too have already gotten sick a few times from eating too fast or not chewing enough, so now I make sure that it is all applesauce consistency before I swallow it. My mom made me promise I would only weigh myself once a week and that is really hard for me because I am so antsy to see how much/fast I am loosing. I hope that you can find some good time fillers for during nap time I really like the suggestion someone made of having a workout video, but I suppose it all depends on the noise and how close the kids are. I hope that you have a great rest of the day today!
