Hooray for Amy!!! I can not think of anyone more deserving than you for the surgery!! You have been such a great role model for all of us and such a great support person for us all on the boards!!

I read your sister's obit yesterday and I just wanted to say how beautifully written it was Carol. Joyce was so sweet the day we met her in Maple Grove and it seemed many people felt the same about her! God bless your family.
Amy, Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am so glad that she was up to coming to coffee and meeting everyone.....She was so sick this past year....I will hold that memory dear for a long long time!! And of course so many more.......

I'm all for Valet parking. Smart of the U to offer that for their patients/clients. Do you know how long you'll have to be hospitalized for the DS? Is it longer than RNY? 
Hi Debra! Congrats...I saw your post about heading to Mexico for your surgery...yay!!!
You are right about clicking with your surgeon. I know everyone loves their surgeon and I see that is quite important in one's journey now.
My hospital stay is longer. It will be 5 - 8 days. Dr. B. only does open surgeries so that is the reasoning. I don't know that it is due to the type of surgery.
