Sweetie I am so sorry you are still experiencing so much pain. Do you have any Bio-Freeze.....that stuff is awesome. Doesn't have that overbearing smell and works in a snap.  Hope you can find some rerief soon. If not call your doctor and se what he/she can do for you. Healing vibes and  prayers are on the way! Oh man, I'm so sorry you're having this pain!  I believe, as does anyone else that has suffered from it, that back pain is THE WORST!!!  I've had issues for years following a car accident, so I sympathize with you, hon.   Lay down on a heating pad on medium heat, and try to relax as best you can.  You don't want all the nearby back muscles to over-compensate for the pain, 'cuz then THEY'LL be hurting - it's a vicious cycle!

Oh, Sweetie!!!  I feel for ya!  I am soooo sorry!  Have you tried those healing oils?  At least they would sooth it a little.  I am not positive (look online) but I believe it is either the peppermint or euculiptus(sp?).  Smoochies (since a hug might hurt)

I've had my back hurt from those chairs too, sometimes for a day or two after I've been there.  I guess we just don't have enough meat on our backs anymore.  Next time leave it off or keep your jacket on.

Sweetie Linda, 'been there, done that!'  My nail salon also has  Neanderthal (cave-man tough) chair masagers which don't 'massage', they just beat you like a heavy-duty mixer!  Were you shown where/how to modify the speed and pulses?  There should be control adjustors on either arm rest, or a separate corded remote tool.  If none were available, that would be a liablilty issue for you to have legally investigated.  However, for your current comfort, be sure to rotate heat and ice at no longer than fiften minute increments to effectively minimize pain and swelling.  Be careful not having either longer than fifteen minutes, or it will actually aggrevate the pain/swelling.  Trust me, speaking from valid experience here!  I'd also take two Rapid=Release Extra Strength Tylenol every four hours to control, then stay ahead of the pain.  End of advice here, and am sending gentle intermittent hot/cold healing vibes your direction;  very glad to know you're off wor****il Saturday. Soothing thoughts....gentle cyber hugs galore, Patti

Warm healing vibes are being sent your way!  Try some gentle stretching, heating pad, tylenol.  Perhaps your pcp would prescribe a muscle relaxer too?. Gentle hugs your way! Colleen

Sounds like you need some muscle relaxers.  I know the heating pad feels so good, but you do need ice, too.   Hope you feel better soon!!!!
