Morning Everyone,

Thing are going well 11 days out. Just getting my schedule done is a bit stress full.

When I was on the LD and clear Liquids .. anytime was the right time.

So, I want to drink when I need to wait and I don't want to drink when I can. Maybe a little bit of willfulness over WILLINGNESS! Nah.. just adjusting.

Well, yesterday was kind of an out and about for a error.

Please, I need some in put as to making a "Out and About Protein Prada Purse".

Still, on full to pureed.

Water Always
Insulated bag
1 cup of skim milk with a dry protein mix of some kind.

That is all I can come up with.. any Ideas!!!

Thanks,

MJ

MJ - that is a totally cute idea! Prada Protein Purse. LOL I love the ice "sheets" vs. ice packs or cubes. They do not get everything wet. You simply take the flat sheet, submerge in water and they puff up, then freeze them. They last quite a while and do not get everything all wet. I think others I have seen post op come to coffee and they have Boost with them for a drink. Not sure if that is in your plan, but just a thought. Can you do a SF pudding?

FANTASTIC IDEA -- a beautiful design that looks like a purse but acts like a mini-diaper bag for us RNYers crap...... XXOO

MJ,

I never did this, but I wonder if you could grind up some turkey jerky or chicken jerky from Jack link's. That you don't need to refridgerate and could keep in a purse. Not sure?

You are very clever...a Protein Prada Purse....LMAO!!!

However it is a good idea too! I like the ground up jerky idea...why didn't I think of that instead of chewing until my jaws ached!! Cheese is always good to take with you and easy to chew up.  Hugs, connie d

Hi MJ, During the pureed phase, I'd carry s/f pudding as well as complementary whey protein powder which I'd put into mini-storage containers (mine are Tupperware, although there's also the Gladware minis.  Don't forget the little spoons!

Also, Musselman's has s/f plain applesauce, to which I'd added a bit of Splenda and cinnamon/nutmeg, as well as protein powder.

My program doesn't allow peanut butter, although creamy if you're allowed would be an idea.

I used only soy milk the first six months or so, although did carry regular milk powder in a container to make the CIB shakes, to which I'd added more protein powder.

And get a variety of string cheeses;  I'd ODd on mozarella, when I could've had a broad varietyAgain, our success begins at the grocery store!  Best wishes and hugs galore, Patti
