Happy Monday
Troy~
You sound great for having surgery just a mer three days ago; I glad that your doing so well!
Monday morning for me means, coming to work to work four hours and then go to my teaching appointment and I meet the surgeron today. I'm so nervous and excited. I need to lose one more pound before surgery but I'm hoping that I get my date set today...
Take care,
Selena
Hey Troy,
I am so glad things are going so good for you. I also agree BarbK has great advise and so does everyone else. I am so grateful for this website and everyone on it. I pm Richard but haven't heard anything yet, I hope he is okay. Keep us posted on how you are doing. I am glad you and Dawn are doing good. Marsha
Troy - healing hugs sent to you!
I am so glad to hear you are doing well! It's so great to have you as an active participant on this board!
As I was walking into work this morning, I was singing "Baby it's cold outside" but then I stopped for a quick second to thank God because I was alive and I could feel the cold. Sometimes we take too much for granted so I just wanted to give thanks while thinking about that.
Today means work and getting ready for a busy week, then off to my PCP at noon to review some meds she had switched me to a month ago and then get her support letter for WLS. I'm bringing along some really good info on my surgery and surgeon, so I'm hoping she takes the time to read those at some point. I know she supports me, but it will be so nice to actually have it in writing. This is a pre-req of my surgeon's, too, so it is an important step in my overall process.
On with the busy day!
Best to you Troy!!! And congrats on your improved relationship with Dawn, there is nothing better IMO.

Good Morning, Troy!
I sure hope you'll continue to be our Monday Morning Sunshine Guy! So good to hear you are doing so well and so full of positive emotions. Amazing the areas of our lives that surgery touches. I guess, it's ALL the areas of our lives!
Let us know what you hear from Richard and share with those of us who are waiting "in the wings" the advice from Barb that helped you so much. Please.

mmmmMONDAY!!! I am SO not a morning person! I look at the times you crazy folks post, and wonder WTF??!!
But every day we wake up is a good one, right? I've got two incredible 9th grade Girl Scouts that I'm SO thankful for! And a great job, and sunshine, and smaller jeans and loose rings and all those fun things courtesy of my WLS - I'm so excited to hear your WOW moments, Troy!!! Don't you worry about there not being a plethora of guys posting here - we all LOVE to see things from a different perspective, so I hope you'll become a regular here for a LONG TIME TO COME!!!
