HAVE YOU SPOKE WITH THE DOCTOR THAT DID YOUR SURGERY?  HE/SHE WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS MATTER.

I also recommend talking to your doctor.  If you are having health issues they can help.  If it's the stress of dumping and eating so differently, maybe a counselor would be better. I'm so sorry you are feeling this way.  Keep in touch, we are here for you...

Hello! I believe that I heard Dr. Shapiro retired.  However, Dr. Glass and Dr. Bettendorf are in the St. Cloud area.  They are both very nice guys and know a lot!  Perhaps talking to one of them could help you work out some of the health issues you might be having.  Also, there are a few psychologists that are in the area that deal expressly with WLS patients.  PM if you need more info. Good luck with whichever way you decide to go and let us help you if you need it. Jeanne

Don't know what the issues you are having are, but I would have to agree that you should go see a surgeon about it.  They may be able to help with the problems you are having and they could let you know the possibilities of a reversal being done.   Take care and please let us know what happens.  Sorry to hear you are having problems.

Your best bet is to go for a consult with a surgeon who performs revisions. This way you could find out if a revision or reversal is appropriate given the problems you are experiencing. Dr. Ikrammudin or Dr. Buchwald are from my knowledge probably the most experienced in the metro area. http://www.surg.umn.edu/surgery/Divisions/General/Bariatric/ contact_bariatric.html Come back to the board if you need more help & remember that on OH there is also a revision forum. You may find a lot of helpful people there as well! http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/revision

I was told there was a site on OH for people who had WLS and regret it, try looking there.
