Fall Gala

A friend mentioned to me a gala that is out on in the cities every fall that I was interested in finding out more about.  Anyone have any info or can point me in the right direction?

Anyone know who puts it on or what it is all about?  My surgeon is interested and I thought I wold try to find out some info.

It is a formal/dress up affair with dinner and dancing.  Last year tickets were $50.00 per person, it's for anyone who is going to or has had WLS who wants to attend.

It was quite a bit of fun, too....

Where can I find more info out about it?

Hey Debbie,    This was the first year I attended,  it was so much fun I just joined the committee!   We are currently in the process of making plans for next year.  I can help answer any questions you might have....  Tiffany

Well some of the questions my surgeon asked me was -

 1.)  Do other surgeons go?

2.)  Who sponsers it?

3.)  What is it all about?

The Surgeons do attend, we really encourage them to come it is a chance for them to see all the wonderful success stories and to know how much we appreciate them and what  they do.  Last years Gala was $50 a person and we are still working on the budget for next year. We take donations and are currently in the process of organizing a garage sale to raise money for next year.  It is about getting together with your peers and celebrating one another no matter where you are in your journey.  It is a lot of fun!!!   Everyone dresses up and there is dancing, great food, great conversation, and over all is just a lot of fun.  I really hope you think about coming... Who is your surgeon?
