Home again ...
Hello Everyone,
I got home last night from the Hospital and want to THANK EVERYONE for YOUR prayers, concerns and well wishes it truely has helped me through these past few days. I'm sure alot has happened since I've been away and will try to read the past posts and I'm sorry if I miss someone out there but just sending well wishes, prayers to all who are going through alot at this time and for the upcoming surgeries and if my memory serves me right .... I believe they're are a couple that have already surgeries and sending prayers your way as well.

I am doing so much better, have a nasal spray pain med called staydol, I guess its a really old medicine that they hardly ever use now...... but thankfully it doesn't cause any nausea issues and also have Compazine supposatories for the nausea from the surgery. Just taking it one day at a time, still on liquids although at one point my surgeon had discussed me starting soft foods early but yesterday before I was discharge express my concern about starting soft foods early because
I'm just able drink clear fluids, decaf teas, sf jello, sf popsicles and I would prefer to wait for that stage at two weeks, and he agreed it would be a good idea, at this point doing well.

You sound like you have done your homework and are going to take it slow and sure. That is so wise and the DR. trust your choice , too!
