(((HUGS))) Carol, I know you are all pretty sad right now, but if it is any comfort to you, she went peacefully in a peaceful enviroment surrounded by all of you!! She couldn't have had a better family. I am so glad she was there and not on my floor. Not that she couldn't have went peacefully there, but the hospie unit is soo wonderful and they really try to make you feel like you are home, in your own bed. She was a very nice person when we met her and I am glad she came the one time to MG coffee so we could meet her. She is in a better place now and she will be watching over you, your family and her daughter!! I am so thankful that you PM'd me and told me where she was so that I could see her and say goodbye. Our cancer pts are so special to us and I know I never saw her on my floor, she still was one of our pts (through the clinic). THANK YOU!! I am praying for you!!

Oh, Lucy!!! ((((HUGS)))) I am so glad that your were able to visit with her. I knew there was a reason that Joyce came to coffee that morning....I would have never have known otherwise that you worked there.... I think the Good Lord was paving that road for us even then...... I can not say enough for the Hospice Unit at North memorial. The nurses were exceptional and treated each of us with compasion and comfort. We will be having a memorial service in the next couple of weeks for her and I am sure if anyone is interested in coming, they certainly could. I will keep everyone posted!! CarolN

Carol Im so sorry... but greatful your beautiful Joyce is pain free. This loss is so devastating... think back on the memories you made with her and hold the little ones close. You now have a personal Angel.... may the Lord be with her and you and your family,

I'm sooo sorry about the loss of your sister and Brianne's mom. How totally devasting. But there is a heaven and you will all be together again. She will be with you throughout your lives -- just look for her everywhere guiding you. XXOO

Oh Carol, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I am keeping you and your entire family and her friends in my prayers. I pray that God would wrap each of you with His loving arms and bring you all peace. He will be with Brianne and hold her closely to Him as she grows. Know my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I am very thankful to hear it was such a peaceful passing, it's amazing every time hearing how they hold on until they are told it's okay. My grandpa did the same thing, waited for everyone to be home and grandma to give him a kiss and say it was okay. God's arms are around you!
