I got my first call from the Dr. Office..appointments are set, no surgery date yet

Congrats on the appointments -- things are rolling now!!!!  The depression thing -- varies from person to person.  Something to watch for because it does happen because of all the hormone things. XXOO

OMG!  Lisa Joy!  It seemed just a day or so a go your were still undecided about surgery and now you're full speed ahead!  Congrats - we'll be calling you a loser sooner than you'll even know! Congrats girlie!

Lisa, Congratulations on getting everything started. The time will go by so quickly.  You will have your surgery date before you know it!!!!! Thanks for sharing your great news!!!

You are just moving right along. Surgery will come before you know it. I did experience some depression spells. I think the highs and lows of the estrogen being released may have caused that. I'm good now.  Good luck. Lori

You are on your way!  I remember how excited (and nervous) when I got this first appointment set. As for depression, nothing more than usual.  Any that I did/have experienced has not been directly because of the surgery. Take care. J

Lisa, so glad to hear that your process is under way.  You're going to be great!  I had been working with depression for many years before surgery, so now I have to watch my symptoms a little more closely.  Make sure the meds keep working, or that the hormones don't drown the meds.  So far, I've been alright.  I've had some tougher days, but overall I feel better than I have in years.  gotta keep the balance though.   Good luck with everything!
