Home again, home again, jiggety jig..
Happy Monday, ya'll!
We're back home after being away for 3 weeks. And go****'s good to be home! The WORST part is unloading the car and unpacking the luggage. UGH! Wish I had hired help to do these tasks! And routine---does it really exist? But it IS the New Year and I've got to get back into studying and homework and exercising and drinking enough water and getting in sufficient protein..blah, blah, blah....
I bought some great 'business casual' clothing for my placement and job hunting in May---and most of the stuff is to 'shrink' into, meaning that losing a few #s or toning up will have the clothes fitting great! Even after all the feasting I'm at 160#s (stayed at that weight for a few months now, I guess this is my 'set point weight')---so I guess I best start an exercise routine for abs and such. (((From the neck down I look like a deflated Michelon man---lots of 'flubber' and loose skin! Not a pretty sight!))))
It was awesome to meet so many of you at the 'meet 'n greets'! You all are so inspiring! I can't tell you how wonderful it was to get together with you and hear your stories! I can't wait for my next trip southward!
Thanks again---you're all great!! And Barb--thanks so much for arranging these get-togethers! You are a dear!

Good evening, Lisa Joy! (What an appropriate name--you are a JOY!)
It was great to meet you! You're doing the right things---like researching the weight-loss process and the procedures! Everybody has a somewhat different story--but I think you'll find most of us would have the surgery done again in a heartbeat.
Good luck in your journey. Anything worth doing is worth doing right!

Hello Sue....I am so glad you made it home safely. Your son Quinn is such a great young man. I was so happy to meet both of you. You really are "sweet sue".
My daughter was glad to have a few minutes to meet you. She thinks you are pretty sweet too!!!!! She loved her card and said she wishes she could return the gift. She said it wasn't at all necessary.
She said you are welcome to leave your car with her when ever you need to.....it wasn't a bother at all.
I hope to meet up with you again sometime soon.
Hugs. connie d
