I have a form of BCBS called CCstpa (self-insured) and didn't have any problems...I followed the guidelines and have I completed all of them, I got approved for surgery in about 1-2 weeks.

No problems here. Had high BMI and proof of of high BMI for more than 2 years, and approval took less than 2 weeks. My surgery occurred exactly 3 months from my free information session at PNC. Very fast, and without any problems. Good luck!

Nope - no problems! I just followed the directions they required....and it took only about 3 days to get approved, once I had completed all their requirements. Good luck!
