First thought is to call your surgeon's office to see if they have a list of approved cold meds you can take. Second, do sleep and get your rest. Nothing beats a virus better. Gargle with warm sal****er. An old standby but it helps. Above all, health and healing are wished for you!

If you're coughing a lot, be sure to keep a pillow nearby and HUG it when you cough!  Hold your tummy in!  I had bronchitis before I even left the hospital after having a c-section.  THAT sucked, pardon the French.

Thanks for the pillow idea that helps out alot.  I had called My surgeons office nd they said I could also wear the brace I went home in.  I think the pillow is such a better idea....Thanks Marsha

Sorry you are ill!  When in doubt on what to take call Gina and she'll let ya know what is safe and most effective!!  Here's hoping the crude goes away fast!!!

Hi Sandra,  I called Gina and she said anything thats tylenol or sf robitussin.  So when all my kids go home I am heading out to the store then just gonna vegg out the whole weekend.  Thanks Marsha

I started getting a cold the week before Christmas.  I took Zicam and Emergen-C Immune Defense.  It was the least annoying and shortest lasting cold I have ever had!  I also used an oral spray that contained Eccinacea, which is supposed to alleviate/reduce the timespan of a cold.
