Dr. gave me the ok for my beloved coffee yesterday.  He was worried about my liquid intake because coffee is a diuretic but am currrently getting about 80 oz. of liquids so no problem.  The Seattle's Best beans are grinding and  the coffee is brewing at my house.  Life is good! Bonnie

You got it.  I can't believ the feeling of euphoria that comes over me with that first sip.  It's the thing I was missing the most.  I know how mom feels.  I hope she can have her coffee back soon.  It's like a prize!  I'm so glad you mom is doing so well.  I'm sure it's a big help having you there.....the seasoned WLS success.  Tell mom Hi and hang in there. I've been drinking my beloved regular coffee for a while now.  I REALLY tried to do decaf but could not function!!!  And since I drink almost 100 ounces of water a day, I am able to drink 2 - 12 ounce travel mugs of coffee a day (I drink an extra 2 coffee mugs of water a day to rehydrate myself).  I used to drink at least a pot by noon and then diet pepsi (sometimes 2 liters a day****il I fell asleep at night.  What a big change this has been for me -- but I LOVE it!!!! XXOO

YAY....happy for you.  I know how badly people miss the caffeine.  Never was into coffee myself and had quit drinking pop LONG before surgery so I didn't have the caffeine withdrawls thank the Lord!
