OT--Sick car
I am so worried my car is currently at the shop because this morning it started acting funny it was ideling fast and not shift right and it felt kind of jerky at times so after work I brought it to the shop. I was relieved that the taxi ride back home was only $11.60 so at least I can keep as much money for the repairs as possible. I took 3 hours off work tomorrow morning in the hopes that it will be an easy fix and then I can pick up my car and head to work. So, I am praying that it isn't something big and that it gets fixed earlier rather than later. I am also hoping it is done before Saturday because I would really like to go to the get together in Burnsville. Sorry I just needed to vent about this because I am really stressing out about it.

I'm sorry you are stressing....Hopefully it is an easy fix. It kind of sounds like it. I know a little bit about cars...ok I'm kind of a geek. But The ideling could be a lot of things...here's hoping that the cold weather just had something stuck. Just be careful they don't try to sell you or tell you that you need all sorts of extra repairs. That is what will drive that bill up. I hate to say it but a lot of shops prey on women and think that they can convince them to fix all sorts of things that they really don't need, unless of course you have dealt with them in the past.........GOSH i'm not really making this better am I???? I suck at this positive thoughts stuff. 
Thanks for reminding me to becareful of the predators I am planning to run things by my Dad before I agree if things sound fishy. My Dad and sister gave me an idea of what it might be. You did good at being positive at the beginning and it was a good reminder to watch out for the predators!

I'm glad that you have someone to run the repairs by then. I just hate when shops pull that crap.....makes me want to go to school for auto repair and start my own shop that won't do that to women. I used to be a grease monkey, but that was before cars got so computerized....it was a lot simpler "back then"...LOL
Ah, man!! Cars! how frustrating!! I hope it is a quick, easy and not to spendy of a fix for you!!!
