OT-House Flooded, currently homeless in a hotel

We came home Chirstmas day to a flooded house. The whole main floor has to be gutted, as in floors, ceilings and some walls have to come out. Some furniture and personal belongings will have to be replaced as well as the kitchen cupboards. We are staying in a hotel and some pets are at the kennel, some are at the house in a heated bathroom and some are visiting Grandma. What a mess. So needless to say I will not be here a lot, since in addition to that, we just took over a gas station that was being run into the ground by theft. So, things are pretty crazy right now. I will lurk when I can.

Nicole!!!! I'm so sorry to hear that you're displaced!! Is there anything we can do to help? If you need help with the animals - I'd be happy to do what I can. I sure hope that insurance will pay for your hotel and such. Please let me know if you need anything! Love ya girlie - hang in there!

OMG...I'm sorry to hear about your rough time right now...good thing that you are a stong woman!! Way to go on the gas station....you'll turn it around...you wouldn't have taken it over if you didn't think you could....(little engine) lol Was hoping to see you at the St. Cloud coffee, but can understand if you can't make it. Holy crap, Nicole! I'm so sorry this happened! I'm not sure how I'd handle it, but the good Lord must think you're a very strong woman!! Please do let us know here if there are things we might be able to do to help. I have no idea what that might be, but there is no shame in asking! Hey - you can hope for a fresh, new, somewhat remodeled home to look forward to! That's kinda exciting, right???
