I can feel your pain. Every time my husband cooked it would drive me insane. But on the LD I was not starving just craving. Everytime I got hungry I knew it was time for another drink. Best of luck,

Jennifer

You'll do just great Troy!  Just keep your eye on the prize and keep reminding yourself why you're doing it and it won't be bad at all!  I'll say some prayers that your head can keep remembering that through all of this!  Not much longer and we'll call you a LOSER!!!  WOOOHOOO!

Troy, Sounds like you are off to a good start on your LD!  I can totally relate to having to leave the room when others are eating something that I used to eat.  You have a strong will and can make it through this!  I wish you all the best as you go through the LD and into surgery.

I've gotta say, I admire your attitude!  We ALL need to learn to celebrate and recognize all our successes MORE than we scold ourselves for our slips!  Yeah, we need to recognize the slips, but it's all a matter of perspective - and the more POSITIVE we can keep our perspective, the easier this whole new way of dealing with food becomes! I'm 8 months out, and I've had a few more slips in the past 2 weeks than I'd like to admit - not huge ones, just a few too many little ones.  But the new year is always refreshing, and I have decided to forgive my slips and focus more on respecting my butterfly!

What a wonderful way to start the New Year. You'll just love your new life....... it's a wonderful ride. The LD is tough; but I see you are already holding strong. Keep it up!  Lori
