OT-I'm an aunt!!
Happy New Year to all my OH friends!
Today is day 4 of my 10 preop liquid diet. I'm bored with my choices and want to chew something, but I'm hanging in there.
My sister had her baby early this morning (1/1/08). About 18 days early. Eli was born at 5:27am in Fargo, ND. He weighs 6 pounds and is 18.5 inches long. Lots of dark hair. He has his eyes open and is very alert. He latched onto mom's breast and is a good sucker. This is her third boy. Mom and baby are doing well. Dad, sister, and big brothers are doing well too.
Eli is a bit of a celebrity in Fargo. He was the first baby born in the Fargo area in the New Year. One of the tv stations was there this morning talking to my sister (she won't be on film) and taking pictures of Eli. I'll post some pictures as soon as I have some.
Mom and I will heading to Fargo on Thursday evening so I'll miss Eagan coffee this week. I'm kinda bummed because I wanted to see everyone before surgery on the 8th, but there will be more coffee get togethers.

Missed you today at the Sweet Sue get together! Congrats on your new little nephew! how cool is it that he was born today! Good luck on your LD - I can't believe you're finally having surgery! I would love to visit you in the hospital if you're up to it. You'll have to let me know.
Anyway, have fun visiting your new nephew this weekend -we'll all be saying prayers for your surgery!

Congrats on becoming an aunt again!!! And 3 boys -- lordie lordie -- your sister and hubby are gonna be eaten out of house and home!!! The future with three teenage boys and their friends -- better start stocking up now!!!
We'll miss you at coffee this weekend but we'll see you soon --- And great job on hanging in during the LD -- you can do it!!!

CONGRATS on the new nephew!!! That's pretty exciting, a New Year's Baby! I have an uncle that's a New Year's Baby (only he was born like 90 years ago!). And my daddy was born into heaven on New Years day 6 years ago! Sounds sad, but for him, it truly was a happy time. A blessing.
Have a SAFE TRIP to Fargo, eh?
