Tomorrow is the day......
You're going to be great! Wishing you the best of surgeries and a speedy recovery.
Take the slippers, maybe your feet will get cold. Plus, that hospital floor is hard, a little extra cushion when you are walking your laps will be a blessing. Unless they are slippery slippers, then they won't be good for walking.
Yep, nerves and triple checking are normal...at least I did the same thing the night before my surgery. I brought my own slippers, but never used them since the slipper socks were just more convenient I guess a lot dependson if you have cold feet normaly or if you prefer to walk in your own slippers vs just socks. I will say a special prayer for you that all goes well in surgery and that you have a speedy recovery. Saving a spot for you on the bench!
WooooHoooooooooo!! Best to you and a speedy recovery and I can't wait to read the post that you be a loser!!!!!!

I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
Thank you all so very much for the well wishes and especially the prayers. Got my bag packed and I even switched to a smaller one, I kept remembering people saying they brought alot of stuff that wasn't used and so I'm bringing just the basics, beside if I have forgotten anything my hubby can always bring it to me when he comes to see me.
Well, the surgery is scheduled for 10:40 a.m. but I have to be there by 6:45 a.m. which we need to leave by no later than 6:00 a.m. so I better get to bed and hopefully I can get some rest tonight, although I have a feeling it going to be a very long, long night.
See you on the bench,
Erika
P.S. I believe Linda's mom is also having surgery tomorrow, so keeping her in mine prayers as well.
