Eating Disorder Clinic at PNC

Is there anyone currently working with the Park Nicollet Eating Disorder Institute?  If you are and would rather not say so publicly, please PM me, if you're comfortable with it.  Per my new pyschiatrist, I'm doing an assessment for binge eating later this month and would like to know more about their techniques and what's involved as well as how much it costs as I'm sure my crappy insurance won't be covering much of it. Thanks!

Wouldn't it be covered under whatever your Mental Health coverage is? I wish you luck. I want to get to theapy for my compulsive overeating sometime soon. I can sympathize with you. Hugs, Farrah

I don't go through PN but I am seeing a therapist at The Emily Program in St. Louis Park. I am going through some anorexic issues (odd, I know...). I also go to a group for women with eating disorders and chemical dependencies (mostly anorexic binge/purge with alcohol or drug issues). Because this is "mental health" my insurance has been pretty good about covering costs. I'm also seeing a nutritionist there who is familiar with WLS, so that has been a big help.
