What ever happened to Big Medicine?

I saw a bunch of posts for Big Medicine show a few months ago. So, I hooked up my DVR and started taping the shows.  They were really interesting.  My wife and I have both had RNY and enjoyed watching the show.   What happened to it?  I miss it.

I just went on TLC.com and it says that all new episode are returning Jan 9th!  Yippee!  I really liked that show too!
