Protein Bullets
I have been taking Wheybolic Extreme 60 from GNC. It come in many flavors my favorite it Banana Cream. I like this because it had 60 grams of protein in 12oz. I use milk so actually its a little over 70 grams in this drink. It has 310 calories and 5 grams of sugar. I also purchased a blender bottle. It has a little ball in it that helps when shaking the drink to ensure its properly mixed. So far so good. I have also bought the Chocolate flavor and its pretty good.

I've never had a lot of luck with protein drinks, but I haven't tried a plethora of them, either. The bullets? I'd just pinch my nose and chug 'em down. I figure I don't have to like 'em if I'm feeling the need for the extra protein. But I didn't have to buy 'em, either - got some free samples at a PNC support group meeting a few months ago. I don't think I'd buy them. I should try a few other drinks, tho - I just want to up my protein intake a bit more. I get my minimum in most days, but more wouldn't hurt!
I'm a bit further out than you guys, but I do like the occasional protein bar, and found one I really like at Target - they're called Twisted, and I like the chocolate flavor. It's a lot like a Take Five candy bar, but with 15 grams of protein! (190 calories and 21 gms of carbs, but I tolerate that just fine). I also like beef jerky to up my protein intake - very lean, high protein, and it satisfies that craving to CHEW!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I drink them, but I only drink one ounce at a time. I put it in the little cups we get right after surgery for water and drink it like I would a shot(when I drank) LOL Than I take a quick drink of water to wash the taste away. But I usually do this after I have chewed my multi-vitamins that don't taste the best so I figure if I do 2 nasty things at once I am just done and over with it. I only drink one ounce a day for 14g of Protein for a supplement because I normally get around 40-50 besides that. But you can split them up in the day and do 1 ounce in the am one at lunch time and one at dinner to get the full 42g. I did that in the beginning when I could only have liquids.
