9 Month Surgiversary

Linda, Thank you so much for the encouragement.  I certainly hope that I reach the day that I need to stop losing - I'm pretty certain that day will never come - but I know Sandie and Linda never thought that either.  So, I guess I won't rule it out. I'll definitely be at coffee and I can't wait to give you a big hug! Take care sweetie!

Tracy, my first PNC support group was Feb. 28, 2007.  I remember seeing you there for the first time, thinking "wow, that woman is STUNNING!"  See the date?  That was PRE-OP for us both, my friend.  You were stunning then, and you are just that much more gorgeous now!  If you could see yourself the way others see you, that would be a gift.  Just keep taking those pictures (mental note to self- today is my 8 month surgiversary, I need to get one of the chilluns to take a new photo of ME tonight!), look at them as often as you need to to remind your head of how much success you've had already!  You'll get there.  You KNOW you will.  At least, I know you will!!! And your brother will be in my prayers as well.  I know I was dead set against this surgery just 2 years ago.  But something in my head changed, THANK GOD!  Hopefully, your brother will change his way of thinking as well. You're so cute!  I wish I had a better memory than I do - both you and Barb K can remember seeing me at your first groups - I think I was so scared about everything I just blanked everyone out.  You're so sweet to tell me that.  I'm hoping one day after some much needed therapy that I can actually believe what you're telling me.  I'm definitely glad I have the pics and I'm glad you do them too.  It really does help keep me from getting depressed that I haven't lost more.  Thanks so much for the prayers for my Bro - I really do pray and hope that he'll be able to change before the worst happens.  Heart disease runs through my family - my uncle died of a massive heart attack at the age my brother is right now.  He definitely needs to take his health and weight more seriously. Now - as for you my little pretty - get thy 8 month pic taken so you can show yourself your transformation! i love you girlie!  So glad our journeys have brought us together!
