OT - Merry Christmas! Threw myself to the lions....

Happy Holidays everyone!     Well....with Bachelor #4 things are progressing very quickly to physical intimacy....and we all know how scary it is for someone new to see our post-wls bodies.  We talked about it and his response...if its what you needed to do to be healthy and happy then I'm glad you did it.  I think I found a good one! On the physical intimacy part....I'm not one to do this with just anyone, mainly because of my own beliefs and insecurities.  So, I needed to know from him where we stood, exclusivity wise.

I didn't get an immediate response, he said he wanted a little time to digest that one.  It is early, but he said he understood where I was coming from. So, I'm holding my breath...I really like this guy and hope I didn't scare him off, but if I did then its for the best and I can move on before losing my heart to him. On a much brighter note...the holidays went great!  No weight gained, which was my goal...to maintain!  Not easy this time of year as you all know!

Congrats on getting through the holidays without gaining it gives me hope for next year when hopefully I will be maintaining my goal weight. Sounds like you are really sticking to your beliefs and it is good to make sure that the guy knows you are not going to just give in.  If you are meant to be with him it will all work out in the end.  I hope it does, but I think you have a good outlook on the whole situation.

Congrats on the good Christmas maintaining!!!!  It is hard for everyone so maintaining is better than gaining everyday!!! As far as the guy, if the intimacy thing and exclusive relationship scares him off, you are better off knowing now.  Good luck and keep us posted!!! XXOO

Caution, wls can cause sudden clear thinking and good judgement!! Good for you!!  Im so proud of you for putting out there exactly what you want and need. When I started dating my now husband after my divorce I told him exactly what I wanted and required and held firm... and I got them! Hold onto your desires and beliefs! Waaaaaaaahoooooooooooooo
