WOW Moment....!!

I stopped in to the local thrift store today on a whim and found a pair of Levi's that fit me! I've NEVER been able to wear Levi's - EVER. This is so awesome, I don't even care that they're used and were only $3...I feel great! And with a hot little top I'm one hot chicka for Christmas this year!! Here's to WLS success for everyone! Congrats!!  It feels good to have jeans on.... :) And Hello!!!  I always have on Goodwill jeans..they all soft and worked in!  Plus I just cant pay retail for things ! Keep up the good work!

I know what you mean, paying retail for clothes during this process or anytime for that matter...stings when you think about it, doesn't it?! I bought a pair of new pants at about 2 months out since my clothes were already getting too baggy. $40 at CJ Banks and I didn't even wear those suckas for 2 months and they were baggy too. Learned my lesson quick, but the only thing that stinks is living in a small town I don't have a lot of selection here. It's few and far between that I find something that fits AND is decent or cute to wear. BLAH! I wish I had a Goodwill here - that would be FANTASTICO!!

Try the internet! Just take measuements and go online. It is the most awesome and easy place to by things. If they don't work just send them back.

Congratulations!!  Isn't it nice to have that feeling of looking good?   I am having a hard time buying clothes too!  In the beginning I would buy all sorts of smaller sized stuff when I found a deal, but I'm having a hard time getting my mind around the fact that I will be smaller then a 14 (yeah, I've worn no smaller than a 14 since I was 11 years old. ) I also don't know what life will even be like when I am too small for Lane Bryant.... BTW they are going to be building a brand new Goodwill in Stillwater--there is one here already, but the new one is going to be A LOT bigger.  I'm not sure when it will open, but the framing is up and it will be right off of the highway.  There are usually some good deals to be found there... Hi...I really like the Goodwill...good clothes great prices!! I just picked up 4 tops today...all for 8 dollars. Two were brand new, they still had the tags on them!!  connie d

WOW Sharon!   I can sure relate to yourLevi's WOW;  isn't it fabulous learning to love certain jeans more than others, now that we're able to get actual style in our petite little bods?  I live two miles from Hopkins Goodwill, where I've bought my four pairs of Levis each fit like they were made just for me!  From size twelve petite, on down to the current eight petite, oh, and size 9 Juniors.  and there's also a thrift store just a short walk downtown Hopkins, Hey, come on down for the Jan. 19 coffee in Hopkins, and stay for some serious power-shopping!  Hugs galore, Patti
