Hi  everyone.  Christmas was very hard for me everyone eating all the sweets and all my fav foods I cried a couple times and had a really good pity party for myself.  I went and weighed myself while everyone else was fillling there faces and I have lost almost 20lb since the 13h of dec.  When I started this whole thing with deciding I was having surgery or going through with it I was 298 and now I am 260.  It is amazing I haven't been 260 for years wow.  I can see my face is thinning out and my double chin.  Did anyone get to go to pureed early I am so sick of fricken soup and pudding.  NASTY.   Thanks alot for listening.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Marsha

WOW !!!  Congrats on the weight loss!!!  And even though you are sick of the soup and pudding, don't rush to the pureed -- too soon can be painful.....  Just like your surgery, the time will come -- be patient..... Again -- congrats on the wonderful job -- way to work the tool GF!!!

Hi Marsha.......like Sandie or is it Linda Anne that always says........  nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!!! (sorry I might have that wrong but it is very close to that) I had about one tsp of cheese cake and that was all the cheating I did. It didn't even bother me what others were eating. There was more then enough of the things I could have. Congrats on the great weight loss so far...you won't be sorry. Hugs, connie d

Congrats on the weightloss that is awesome!  I am on pureed foods right now and my Christmas dinner wasn't much better ecspecially since what I tried to make for myself ended up burning so I settled for ff/sf pudding and tiny bite of mashed potatoes.  I am just glad to be out of the house full of leftovers and cookies and such.  Hopefully you will be moved to pureed soon.  Hang in there!

Congrats on the weight you've lost!  What a great accomplishment.  I have to commend you!  I don't know that I could have gone through the Christmas season just having had surgery - that takes a lot of courage!  And just think - it's all gone now and you succeeded! Now how about a pic of YOU in your avatar so we can all see your beautful face shrinking away! Take care!
