Thanks Peach!!!  I still don't see a big change but I was told by Sandy last Monday night that I shouldn't be the judge of that -- I'm down a lot of sizes but the brain still sees fat -- How come it didn't see the fat before is my question ~~ it was fooling me that I looked okay!!! I also posted some more after shots on my profile taken 2 weeks ago.  I do have to admit I see more door space !!!  This surgery continues to be a blessing to me and I thank God every day for the opportunity it is, and will continue to, give me.   I still so admire you and your determination to lose weight without the surgery.  It is a hard thing to do, even with the surgery, but doing it without is very admirable!!!  Continued success to you!!! Hi!  What do I look under to see your pictures?  I tried the other day and had no luck.  I have so NOT figured out the computer message board deal YET...I'll get there, but in the meantime, how can I see your amazing pics?     Also......Wanting to hear how it went seeing your relatives?  How did they respond to your success and WLS? Lisa

The pictures can be viewed by going into my profile (click on my avatar) and then going into the pictures.  My photo album of "before and after" have my front and side comparing shots, and "the reasons I want the surgery" album has pictures of my hubby, daughters, grandson, and the little princess sophie (my dog). The visit went fine.  The one sister-in-law who is tall and thin and works in a hospital asked which one I had (RNY or the lapband) and what size pants I was wearing.  The other sister-in-law just listened and didn't treat me any different -- which was fine too.  The MIL said nothing except mentioned that I was picky in my eating to the hubby when I was doing dishes and wasn't part of the conversation -- the hubby commented back that I wasn't being picky but I was doing what I was suppose to do and that I can't eat certain things any more.  He's so great!!!  The other person who was soooo complimentary and asked a bazillion questions was the future sister-in-law ~~ I was in total happy shock.  She wanted to see my profile with my before and after shots, commented on how great I looked and can't wait to see me next summer at a family wedding in June -- she's hope to see a lot less of me soon as she put it.  During all the discussion I had with her, my MIL listened very intently so maybe the future SIL was asking the questions the MIL just didn't feel comfortable asking.   So all in all, even though they didn't respond with any emails or anything when I did tell them, they did ask today when the saw me and really acted like they always have.  So I'm good with it now.  One of them commented that they only knew people who had failed and when I explained that is what everybody talks about versus the successes, they agreed they may not know of those who have succeeded because everyone only talks about the negative -- while gossiping of course!!! So it went well -- and thanks soooo much for asking!!!! Hope you had a good Christmas!!! XXOO
