Hope you are all safe at home and
Thanks Peach!!! Merry Christmas to you too!!!! Did the hubby get the day off ??? I remember he had to work on Thanksgiving!!! What are your plans???
We were suppose to travel to Fairmont to have dinner with my hubby's dad and then onto Lakefield for Christmas Eve. But the storm grounded us since it was following 35 South right down the path we were going to travel. We'll head straight to Lakefield tomorrow morning for Christmas Eve with the mother-in-law. Back Christmas night for the early morning shopping!!!!
in fact, hubby is working both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
so much fun in retail....
I'm not happy with him for it either but being the manager doesn't leave him many options....
Be safe traveling tomorrow....I sure hope the road conditions improve enough for you - coz I went out a few hours ago and it was AWFUL!!!
As for us, we'll be heading to Plymouth to my daughters home on Christmas Day evening....tomorrow, we'll just hang low here and do just us :)
Thanks for asking!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU, PEACH!! I'm sorry your DH has to work, I've done enough retail in my life that I know the drill... I hope you find time to celebrate with each other!
As for driving, I managed to make it to Maple Grove to shop for all the groceries I'll need to host Christmas Eve at our house. And my DD called while I was on the road to tell me our vacuum crapped out for good, so I bit the bullet and went to the Oreck store at Arbor Lakes and got us a GOOD vacuum finally! (Hoping and praying that you get what you pay for, 'cuz our cheapie vacuums always seem to die, and I paid more than I've ever paid for a vacuum before! Merry Christmas to meeee, another instrument of cleaning torture!!!)
Be safe, everyone, and remember - Jesus is the reason for the season!!!
