Liquid Diet??
I just have a couple of questions and was hoping for some advice/help....I am on the 3rd day of my liquid diet, I know the minimum is 64 oz. But, is there a max of fluids that should be consumed? And, if you drink more than that, can that be bad??? Just wondering if anyone can advise it would greatly appreciated. Erika
Hello Michelle,
Well, I have survived the first two days and let me tell you it was hell. First day I got in 80 oz of liquids and yesterday I got in 92 oz of fluids and today so far only 24 oz. and as of this morning I have lost 5lbs. So I was really proud of myself and thankfully I'm getting fuller now with the NSA CIB's although, I really dislike the chocolate and the vanilla, love the strawberry but they don't sell it by itself.... as I am finding out.
I even went to there website and sent a message but no response as of yet. I did have my first SF jello last night, and that was the best jello I've ever had and also splurged and had SF popsicle. So, if you have any suggestions as for any liquid recipes that I can have for the next few days it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the information and hope you have a great weekend!

Oh I got so mad that they didn't sell only strawberry. It was my favorite and I ended up with lots of chocolate and vanilla just cuz I bought more to get strawberry LOL. Try it blended with ice see if that helps any. EAt the popsicles...at least that counts as liquid for you...don't worry about splurging it's something you're able to have as much as you want. I didn't get very creative with the liquid stuff sorry not too many ideas here.
I drink at least 100 ounces of water a day plus 30+ ounces of milk. Because it is done over the course of a day, it doesn't hurt you ..... For the LD, have you tried the Mrs. Grass soup? It is sooooo good!!! Just strain the noodles out of the soup when it is done and have at it. It is great after surgery too!!! And don't stock up on jello -- believe me~~you won't even be able to look at it a week after surgery!!!! And you can add SF kool-aid and crystal lite to your water for flavor variations too!!!
I found that the night of day two and the morning of day three were the worst. After that, my momentum was going toward the surgery and it wasn't that bad. Plus watching the scale go down is a big booster for not cheating --- You're doing a great job ~~ keep up the good work!!!
YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!
Michelle, Barb and TheKid,
Thank you all for your input, and suggestions. Barb I have tried the Mrs. Grass and your right its very yummy and truely enjoy it alot. Thekid your suggestion on adding SF Strawberry is a great idea and I will try soon, once I have purchase that flavor. Thank you all again, I appreciate your help.
Merry Christmas,
Erika

I am kind of confused as far a the liquid diet goes. I am just in the first stage of getting Weight Loss Surgery started. I am so excited for this opurtunity that I have been given. Dr. Glass is the surgeon that I will be going with. He is such a very nice doctor. Plus he already told me I am a candidate for the Gastric Bypass. I think the liquid diet will be one of the worst things I'll have to go through. Does anyone else know what the other challenges are for this surgery? What other things will myself and others have to face. I am to anxious to wait to hear about it at the seminar on Jan. 7th, 2008! I need to know lol. Hope I will get some really great advice from this board.
YOUR DOING A WONDERFUL JOB SWEETHEART JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND GOD WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY!!
