DRUM ROLL PLEASE - BERRY CAME HOME!!!!!!

Well, Berry came home today.  He is not feeling the best but is glad to be home.  I am glad he is home too.  He ended up actually gaining weight.  I suppose it is from 3 days of all sorts of "liquids" being pumped into him.  He really hasn't slept much in 4 nights.  He is walking and sipping so maybe tomorrow he will feel better.  You know you would think that this would make me question my surgery.  But honestly it doesn't.  In fact, I think I understand it better now.  I am still apprehensive but will be fine.  I want to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and prayers.  Merry Christmas to all and a Blessed, Healthie New Year!  Thanks - Lynn

The weight gain right after surgery is very common, because of the IV fluids.  I was 19 pounds up 6 days after surgery!   3 weeks later, I was something like 32 pounds DOWN.  So just have patience and work the plan - It WILL come off! CONGRATS, BERRY!!!

I'm so happy to read this!!!!  I'm sure he'll progress much faster at home - I always do better once I am at home!!

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY!!!  Berry is home!  Glad he is on the mend! 

I had my suregy on the 18th also, and still feel crappy- feels like the flu. I would gladly do it all over again!
