Happy Friday! Well, we had a day off yesterday from appointments. Still lots of phone calls but Kyle is doing well. He does have an icky cold. We will see how he feels tonight. Last night the kids and I spent some time shopping and just being together. It was so nice to be able to do this without having the pressure of being rushed for time. Tonight we don't have much to do which will be nice. I am thinking maybe we will curl up on the couch and watch Christmas Movies. We haven't had a movie night for a long time where it is just the three of us. We got the news Wednesday afternoon that Kyle's insurance approval has gone through for his treatment in NY. I was a bit worried since there is always a chance that insurance would say no but we had no issues with it. So Kyle is scheduled to go inpatient on January 2, 2008 at 8:00 am to Children's here and start Chemo and Radiation. We are also going to shave his head so he doesn't have to worry about it falling out. He will have 5 days of chemo and 10 days of radiation. After that he will recover and then we head to New York. Again his First Communion is on Sunday, December 23, 2008 at St. Joesph's in Lino Lakes. All are welcome to the 8:00 am Mass. If you can make it that would be wonderful as I know that it will be a wonderful celebration of the Sacrament. There have been so many wonderful people who have given us great gifts for the Holidays. A huge "THANK YOU" to all of you wonderful people. I am truly thankful that we have so many wonderful friends that are here for us. God has truly given us wonderful people in our lives. Please continue to pray for Kyle....he will have to have another stem cell harvest after the first round of chemo since they did not get enough cells. Also remember all of those who are struggling with illness, may God grant them peace and strength. For those who are alone this Holiday season, may God bring them a light to lead them from the darkness. God Bless and thanks for checking in on us! Mom--Teresa
