7 days out of surgery and 5lb lost

Hi guys I am so excited i went to get my tube taken out and I weighed myself and I already lost   5 lbs.  I could hardly belive it I am so pumped.  Also Kathy and I went to bakers square for lunch and I had a cup of tomato basil soup and was that ever good I never dumped or anything.  yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa  I still have a ways to go but things are looking up.  Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with advice.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Marsha

Great job!  Just think for the first few weeks you'll be losing around 5 pounds a week, especially while still trying to shed all the IV fluids in your system!  AAHHH!  WLS is good!
