WoooooHooooo!! ITS FRIDAY...!! AND the Friday of a long weekend to boot!!! Could one be more excited..?!?!? Whats on store for your Christmas weekend? I Get to work both jobs today, then work tomorrow til 11-4 at TJ, then getting together with myside of the family for our annual get together, eat lots of food, play games and hang... Sunday get some good church in, then I have to work 1 til 7 @ TJ's, THEN....THEN... theres a little football game on that I fully plan on watching.... (GO VIKINGS!!).. Monday I get to work 9-2 @ TJ's, then Randy, Jen and I will enjoy a quiet evening. Going to prepare Prime Rib and what ever goes with it. CHRISTmas day we have an open house for anyone who would like to come over.. Gonna brunch it.. YUMMMMY Looking back I guess I dont really have the weekend off..LOL I dont count TJ's as work.. Its too fun!! I wish you all a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!

Happy Day Dana and Merry Christmas! Tomorrow night is the WILD vs Detroit game and Im going with my NHL Jersey! Its my first game, and my Miami FL. virgin to hockey hubby is wonderng what all the who ha is about. I love love hockey! Good Morning Dana and Merry Christmas to you!

I am so glad it is Friday. I am off wor****il next Wednesday. I am leaving about noon to head down to SSP to my daughter's. We will do Christmas together on Saturday evening. Then Sunday I am going to Iowa to my other daughter's and coming home on Wednesday. The grandchildren are all so excited!! I take turns every year at which daughter and grandchildrens home I spend Christmas day...it works out good that way. Someday I wish we could all be together at one place but for now this is the way it will be. My daughter in SSP works two jobs and can't get away.Nic(grandson) isn't up to traveling so they don't want to leave Iowa. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy your time with family and friends. And a very Merry Christ-mas to you Dana! It's going to be a busy weekend and holiday. I will more than likely be working over the weekend and some on Christ-mas eve and Christ-mas day in the mornings. I have SOOOOOOOO much to do! At least I can work from home. Have to find time to watch the Packers on Sunday! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO Then to fit in the holiday get togethers and church services. I'll be going to two services on Christmas eve (afternoon) and (candlelight). My mom and sis will be singing at the first and it's just tradition to get to the Candlelight service....wouldn't miss it. Take care and have a very safe, happy and healthy holiday!

Merry Christmas everyone!!! After today, I'm off for 5 days as well! Forgive me if I don't have a chance to check in here, I'll be pretty busy - tomorrow we're going to the MOA (yay rides!!!), Sunday we'll go to church then spend the day cleaning the house. Monday the kids and I will be busy in the kitchen getting all our goodies ready for our Christmas eve guests (it always used to be just my family, but lately we've become something of a "home" for friends who are without other family to spend the Holiday with, and I LOVE IT!). We do a whole mess of appetizer type foods so people can just graze the evening away, Rich does a ham on the grill, and we just eat and talk and open a few gifts (just the 3 grandkids mostly...). Then we'll shoo everyone away and to go the Candlelight service at 10pm, come home, the kids will probably beg to open just ONE of their presents, and then we go to bed late! (I may not wrap presents until then... not with the way Hazel has been into CHEWING things lately!!!) Christmas morning will be presents, a big breakfast, then just spend the day watching movies & being slugs until we go down to Bloomington for Christmas night with Rich's family. I'm SO VERY THANKFUL for all of you, and I pray you all have the kind of Christmas you LOVE!

Yeah,for you hard-working drones, it's the long holiday weekend, and I recall working full-time and a part-time job, and working some of the holiday duration. I feel so blessed, being only able to work every other weekend, although offered to work (part-time receptionist at a seniors assisted-living facility here in Hopkins. Tonight I've been wrapping gift purchased prior to Thanksgiving (as I always to do avoid the craziness of the materialistic secular part), then tomorrow will be baking cookies and bars to serve at my holiday recital/sing-along here at my apartment building Sunday afternoon. Will be working Christmas Eve evening shift, then getting picked up by my sister's hubby/family Christmas day to venture onward to my older brother's in Buffalo. He and his wife have all the snow toys: snow sleds (er, snowmobiles), toboggans and such. Also, after the big dinner, the 'kids' play outside, then the house bugs play board games. Everyone will be together this year, making 17 adults, three teens, and four little ones. Gets very loud, and is always so much fun! My two sisters and I, as well as two nieces also play piano duets, with our favorite always being "Birthday of a King." Then the kids open gifts, and the adults do gift xchange.
