Surgery is Over!
Horray! After jumping through hoops since early April, I've finally made it through lap band surgery. I can't believe how little pain I have. I had surgery on Monday morning and came home Tuesday. Today I've taken some Tylenol, but that's it. I have to say Dr. Lederer and his team at HCMC were fantastic! Just two more weeks of the liquid diet, and I can start soft foods. I figure if I made it through 2 weeks of the liquid diet before surgery I can do another 2 weeks. Christmas might be rough, by my family is 100% behind me.
Maple Grove coffee folks: I had lost track of which Saturdays the support group meets. Could someone please let me know when the next meeting is? Thanks!

HIJACK!!!
Julie - love your new avatar! You're looking absolutely FABULOUS!
Congratulations Debra! Welcome to a new way of life. You'll probably be swollen enough for the next week or so, so getting through Christmas won't be so tough. Just keep up with those liquids. I've had my band for a little over a year and think it's the greatest thing. If you have any questions, let me know! What a great gift you gave yourself this year. Jean B.
