Carb Blockers Question

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if any one here has ever taken a carb blocker and if they work? This is something that I have been struggling with (carbs) and a co-worker takes carb blockers and just wanted to know if this is something that would be ok.  Thanks Linda

Never heard of them.  Are they supposed to help with the cravings or prevent carbs from absorbing into your system? Of course, to answer your question, I think it's best to ask your doctor - you never know when one medicine will contradict with another.

I took Xenical years ago and it really never worked much for me, but then nothing did, that's why I had the surgery.
They probably have something new that might work better than the Xenical, but I dont know. If you find out more info about this and if it is ok to use after RNY, I'd be interested to know. I try to stay away from Carbs but it I'm far from perfect!
