My mom mentioned to me today that my breath has had  a strong odor to it lately. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that when eating so little a thing called ketosis cause bad breath.  Am I remembering this correctly?  Also any hints for how to fight this?

Yep!  I should have bought listerine pocket packs of the breath strips.  Almost no sugar and really work.  I would actually tear them in 1/2 and that did it for me.

Yep -- normal!!!  Tells you your tool is working.  Wait until the body odor hits!!!  Buy mouthwash and extra deodorant!!!  It does go away -- not permanent!!! XXOO

Also, if you have problems with your tongue feeling like it has a coating of glue on it, get a tongue scraper and use it when you brush your teeth. It helps to get rid of the nasty taste. Karen

Thanks guys, I will add it to my list.  I thought I had it covered.  When does this start?  I had never heard of the body odor.  How bad does that get?  EWWW Bonnie

OMG!!! I've been so worried about thinning hair - now stinky breath and BO too? How do you know if you have this? If it's possible to have a fear of being poorly groomed, that's me to a tee! Can you tell it yourself if you have this problem or will someone have to tell you cause you can't smell it yourself?

The bad breath I've got... yeck!!!! but BO??!??!!! I didn't remember reading about THAT either!!! I too would like to be enlightened as to when this little jewel starts and how bad it gets.

Yes, it's good because you are doing things right, it's bad for those around us though.

I figured out that the worse my breath is, the more quickly the needle is moving downward on the scale.  So, I look forward to dragon breath.  Wish I had it all the time!   B.O.?  I smell different when I sweat, and it can get raunchy if not washed away, but B.O. isn't necessarily a problem.  Probably will be if I have to be around people after sweating without showering.  And there is no leaving the house in the morning without a shower.  But then, I don't have anybody around to smell me, and we have a pretty high tolerance to our own smells.  Hm, maybe I better start asking people to tell me how I smell.
