FYI - Old Country Buffet Response - Not worth it!!

I use my card all the time. The buffets at the casinos honor them. I have used mine at Olive Garden, Perkins, Chiles. Lots of places. When I was on vacation in the Wisconsin Dells I used my card at all the buffets there. I have never tried it at OCB because I heard that they didn't honor them. I don't partically care for buffets but my son and his family does.

I hate that place!   About 2 months ago I brought the kids (two 4 year olds) and they said that I would have to pay, I said I wasn't going to eat.  So they let me in and watched me like a hawk, and when I took one bite because Joe wanted me to taste something they were right over saying I had to pay.  Needless to say I made a spectacle and the boys and I walked out (they were done eating by that time).   I will NEVER go back again. 

Good for you for walking out! That's ridiculous... While I don't enjoy OCB much myself, my husband likes the breakfast once in a while. I tend to like buffets because of the variety in selection and if they give you the kids price - which all but OCB honors that I've found - isn't so much of an issue for as little as I eat. Personally, I take issue with the "card" as I believe it borders on a violation of HIPPA to have to disclose to someone a medical condition; however I recognize that I have a choice to disclose or not and just pay the full price. I debate all the angles in my mind quite a bit. OH has a card you can print out under My OH. I just did that and wrote the name of my surgeon and his phone # on it. Never been turned down yet - other than OCB of course.
