Update to "not the flu"
What a day this has been! I have been at Dr. Glasses office since 11 this morning and I just got home 4:25pm. Dr. was great though....I must say...the more I see him the more I like him, not that I wish to keep having to see him. So after waiting to get in on an emergency type basis...the Dr. and I went over everything....he sent me down stairs for a CAT scan to check for all serious problems and also get me 2 bags of fluid since I haven't been able to get much down. He even came down while they were getting me ready for my CAT to check on me---thoughtful and wondering why they were taking so long (he got off duty sometime while they were doing my scan but he stayed at the office till I was done to go over everything with me) So, the CAT showed nothing serious, no leaks or nothing...
BUT the pain is still there and I am still not able to drink or anything. Dr. Glass was happy with the results but we still need to find out whats going on....he scheduled me for a EGD, we couldn't do it yet today but he scheduled me for tomorrow morning, after his team meeting at 7am at the hospital he will then come do my procedure at 8am then go on to 2 surgeries!! He squeezed me in to take care of the situation and to do it himself! He thinks I may have a stricture, he did the CAT just to rule out anything major though. So I may not have an answer yet...but I have one hell of a Dr. who is certainly going to find one out for me.
I will let everyone know sometime tomorrow what was found, hopefully this will take care of the problem and the pain. Thanks for all the support you guys....you all ROCK!!!! I'm so glad I have all of you in my life to share this process with...what a family we are!!!

Like I said earlier, Sherry, I have already visioned Dr Glass dialating the stricture and you feeling better and on the road to recovery. You are in good hands with Dr Glass! He is a wonderful Dr!

Told ya Dr. Glass was the BEST!! Glad to hear that there is no leak I was worried about you. I still am suffering from what I am now praying IS the flu, I will find out on Wednesday when I see Dr. Glass then I am off to my second interview for the Medical Examiners office! Sending feel good vibes your way for tomorrow. Enjoy those fun meds!

I have been worried about you all day. Kept checking for a post and kind of thought you were tied up with the Dr. Sounds like you are in good hands and tomorrow you should have some news and on your road to recovery. I hope you got some relief from the pain and got you self hydated again. You take care and I will be waiting for your post tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your pain and struggles, but so glad to hear that you're in such good hands! Good luck getting a diagnosis!
