Full Liquids...Yipee!
I go for my one week checkup tomorrow afternoon and am so excited to be moved from clear liquids to full liquids I can hardly wait. I keep looking at my parent's food and just drooling wanting to eat something substantial. My mom is taking me to my appointment tomorrow sinceit is 1 1/2 hours from their place where I am staying through the end of this next week.
I am wondering with the yogurt I know at this stage I need to avoid the stuff with fruit pieces, but will the 100 calorie stuff be okay or is there going to be too much sugar and I run the risk of dumping? I am not a fan of the plain yogurt so I am hoping I can have the light flavored stuff!
CONGRATS!!! As for the Yogurt, I was told no chunks and the no sugar added........ya have to look and look and I can't remember which store I found it at....sorry!! But, Pam's right, ask Dr. to be safe!!!

I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
The only thing I found that helped me get through my pre-op liquid diet was sugar free popsicles since you can crunch them itgives you at least some "chewing". I also tried to stay as busy as possible and I cleaned out my kitchen of everything I couldn't have so it wasn't sitting there tempting me. Good luck with the rest of your liquid diet, it is tough, but it is worth it.
I have been just about living on Dannon Light and Fit yogurt. I love it. It's low in sugar, fat and calories, and it's tasty. The Dannon does have little bits of fruit in it, but if you don't want to sit and pick them out, I found that I can just run it through the blender and all of the chunks go away.
