Whats the one bad habit you have hung to now that you have had your surgery?
Yep! Me too! Just suffered from that yesterday as church went over and by the time we got home and was able to eat I think I was trying to inhale it! But for me it does hurt me!!!

linda that's an interesting question.
i'm probably guilty of the same habit - eating too fast.
but the one i'm more guilty about is that i haven't been able to exercise much at all.
i'm sure that's why i'm stuck where i'm at, but i keep telling myself i'll move more when i can move

The hardest thing for me is to completely obey the "no drinking with meals" rule. I don't drink a lot, just a sip here and a sip there, maybe 2-4 oz. over the course of a meal, but that's been the hardest thing for me. And it's primarily when we eat out, not at home. I chew well, I eat slow enough, I obey the sigh, but if there's water in front of me, I sip it.
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
And why is it when you tell the waitress that you do not want anything to drink, including water, they keep asking you, "Are you sure?" "NO, I', not sure, I just want to see how long it is before you would come back and ask me again...." My biggest problem with food since surgery is weekend grazing...I want to, want to, want to!!! So I have to keep really busy so I wont.

I'm with you! it bugs me to death to have to keep telling them no, so I've started ordering what my hubs is drinking so when he's ready for a refill it's waiting for him. Since he drinks soda I'm not even TEMPED to drink it.
