So so so happy it's Friday.  Between 2 jobs I will have worked over 70 hrs this week.   I am actually taking all weekend off.  Tomorrow we are going Christmas Caroling with some Dr's and others from the hospital my hubby works at.    Tomorrow evening we are going to the party for my PT job at the tv station.   Last yr it was a wonderful party so we are looking forward to it.   My 15 yr old is going to stay home and spend some quality time with his baby sister!!   God I need to do something for that boy....he's such a good big brother.   I think I'll try to find him something special for Christmas from his baby sister.   Sunday I really need to get the tree up and do some decorating.   Hope everyone has a fun weekend.

Hey Dana baby!!!  Sounds like you need to make sure there is some time left for YOU!!! I've been the busiest I've EVER been in 19 years with the Park District - and I LOVE IT!  But I miss my down time, too...

Tonight I will finish my Christmas shopping.  Two neices and my dear friend in Atlanta (wish I could send her a tanker of water, for cryin' out loud!)  And either tonight or tomorrow morning, I'll get a new battery put in the Cruiser - she's nearing 100,000 miles!!!  Gotsta take good care of her, so she'll give me another 100,000.

Tomorrow we will be going to find the perfect Christmas tree, and I will get my arms good & scratched up stringing the lights on it.  Then Sunday after church, while the kidlets decorate it, I'll get the Christmas letters finished up so they can go out in the mail next week!   I'm with Ali - SOMEONE ought to warn people that perpetual motion is a side effect of WLS!

 

happy friday, jen    daughter number one had the same issue - roomed with best friend in high school and they ended up enemies.  not easy, but she learned alot from it.      hope your weekend goes well.  sounds like an awful lot of work, but the game should be good. take it easy :-)

Kids, eh..  Gotta love 'em.   Can't trade 'em in for a puppy. I am just soooo happy I have no school until next year!  (Starts on January 7.) This weekend I'm gonna be baking my presents for my kids--biscottis of various flavours.  That's all they're gonna get--EXCEPT for that wonderful video-put-on-disc of their dad!  Just one of those gifts that NO ONE else could give them! And oh yeah--gotta clean and vacuum this apartment!  It's loaded in cat hair!  Maybe I should shave the cat to cut down on hair all over the place... I wear dark socks with dress pants for placement and I'm so embarrassed by the white cat hair sticking to the socks! That's life.... Have  a wonderful weekend! ((HUG)) **SUE**

Definitely nothing exciting for me!  I'll be spending yet another weekend in the hospital.  I've been here three weeks already.  I came in severely anemic (hemoglobin 6.9).  I've had several blood transfusions.  I also developed a staph infection, most likely from one of my IV sites.  I also have severe back pain and have had different MRIs and CTs.  The surgeon looked at the spinal MRI and said "That explains your symptoms."  They're looking at doing surgery on Tuesday.

Yeay!!! It's the weekend! THis week was soooooooooooo long. I'm happy to be sitting inside today and staying warm. Tomorrow will be quite busy. I have church. Then Christmas shopping for the family I adopted this year, then the homeless shelter in the evening. So, today is about being lazy.  Have a great weekend! And get some rest. Hugs, Lori
