I'm with Laura -- I've felt great ever since the surgery.  It was a struggle to get to the surgery because I'm a "light weight" and kept thinking I should be able to lose this 100 pounds on my own.  But then reality would sink back in and I knew I couldn't.  I haven't regretted one minute of it!!!  I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!  I don't know what the future holds, but my plan is to make this work!!!

Fitness is not about age or a size -- it's really about an attitude and life style!!!

Okay, I realize this is a guy's perspective but... Prior to the surgery I was on liquids for 21 days.  (yes 21!) so food commercials and such were horrible.  Immediately after surgery I was measuring food and  eating slowly but it seemed constantly.  My wife even said that she saw me eating more often than before the surgery. The funny thing was I was getting my food fix by watching the food network.  I guess my mindset was that if I was  going to eventually have my intake limited, I better have some better choices.  A month after surgery I felt so good that I got a second job to get out from under some debt.  If all goes well, you will be fine.
