Flu questions

I had the flu yesterday with dry heaves and now today when I drink my pouch feels tender, sore, sometimes sharp pain, but it goes away.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry you are feeling icky. I still have no clue how the gi flu will be after this. I think I may have already gone through it; but am not sure. Good luck! Hugs, Lori

I had the dry heaves once.  It was the most miserable I have ever been.  I finally got in to see the doc and got some suppositories that stopped the nasua in its tracks.  I make sure I always have some on hand now.  I have a script just sitting on my desk for Prochlorperazine.  I will never go through that again.  I even take it with me when I travel.   When I had my revision my doc wrote my script out before my surgery.  It's not a narcotic so your doc shouldn't have a problem.  I highly recommend it, especially for those who have bands. P

Yep, welcome to being sick  post-op. Do liquids for a day or 2 to not tax your tummy. If you don't feel better, call your doc.
