What vitamins do you take (recommend)?

You will be newly post-op, so I would believe you will have chewables for a while, but PLEASE follow your surgeons recommendation on this. I agree with the others that each seems to have their own list of what to take. Also, I'm personally not big on cheaper vitamins are better or the same, because of a report that showed how much was "disposed of" (a/k/a #2) based on the brand of vitamin. So I have some high standards for vitamins and I'm willing to pay the price. They are going to be a major player on how well your body does after surgery - they are a lifelong committment.

Another thought is that after surgery, you likely won't have the cost of food that you do pre-op and so if you currently have a grocery budget, you could build that extra into your vitamin/supplement budget perhaps. Just some thoughts.

My surgeon and NUT recommended Flinstone Complete. I take two a day. They are chewable and I don't mind them at all. I also take Citracal chewies...for my calcium...yum!!! connie d
